Attention (gold version): The labradorite stone appears significantly lighter and clearer than what was shown in the pictures and the moth the tiniest bit smaller in size. This is due to a different manufacturer than I used for the original ones which has improved its quality for gold.

Metal information
Each collection is beautifully crafted from sterling silver and Gold Vermeil.
Sterling Silver
We use 925 Sterling Silver. The '925' represents 92.5% minimum pure silver. As pure silver is soft and malleable (making it prone to breakage), 7.5% is made up of alloy. This helps our silver remain durable and suitable for everyday use while remaining high quality. We plate our silver jewelry in rhodium, which gives it extra shine and durability. All of our sterling silver pieces are stamped with “925”.14k Gold Vermeil
Gold Vermeil, pronounced ver- may, differs from regular plating in that it involves a much thicker, higher quality layer of gold to ensure durability. Our pieces meet the highest standard of Gold Vermeil with a minimum of 2.5 microns thick of gold. Our Gold Vermeil uses 14 karat gold layered over Sterling Silver. All of our Gold Vermeil pieces are stamped with “925”. 14 karat Gold is chosen because of it’s subtle gold tone.
14k Solid Gold
Solid Gold is designed to last forever. Our 14k solid gold pieces are meant to be passed down to your loved ones and prized as heirloom pieces. Solid gold does not oxidize. Please be gentle with our solid gold pieces as they are dainty and can break if not cared for.
Jewelry Care
Because of the delicate nature of jewelry, please be mindful of how you wear your pieces and store them. When you are not wearing your jewelry, we recommend that you store your pieces in an enclosed jewelry box or airtight bag to keep them from the exposure of the outside elements. If they will be stored for a long period, ensure you wipe them down so that there is no exposure to fragrances in lotions, oil from skin, etc.

Standard Rules of Thumb: (Gold Vermeil & Sterling Silver)
- Don't wear jewelry & accessories in water
- Remove before going to sleep
- Don't leave in extreme hot or cold temperatures
- Store in an airtight container or plastic bag since air can oxidize jewelry
- Perfumes & lotions may wear down the plating on your jewelry. Please apply these products before putting on your pieces. Any moisture/chemicals can oxidise your jewelry and cause it to darken.
- If your jewelry requires cleaning, we recommend using a polish cloth or soft cotton cloth on any metal part to reduce tarnish. Please keep in mind that everyone's personal skin PH levels and how often the jewelry is worn may determine how quickly it may tarnish for some people. Gold Vermeil jewelry is coated with multiple layers of gold and will last a long time if cared for.

SHIPPING & HANDLING
We pride ourselves in the quick handling of your packages with most orders shipping out within 3 business days.
DOMESTIC
Canadian orders placed with Canada Post Expedited/Standard shipping are processed and shipped within approximately 3 business days. This does not mean it will arrive to you within 3 business days. This is when it will leave our studio space and be on it's way to you. Please be patient if there are postal delays out of our control.
Packages will not be delivered on holidays.
INTERNATIONAL
Your package will be sent Canada Post.
Please note, all international packages may be subject to duties and taxes.These are established by your local customs authorities. Haiku Lane is not responsible for these costs. Please visit your local customs authorities website for more information.
Delivery dates are not guaranteed for reasons out of our control. If you need a rush delivery please contact us first to upgrade your shipping. Haiku Lane is not responsible for any packages lost in the mail. Please ensure that your mailing address is correct as we will not replace packages if incorrect address is given.
PRE-ORDERS
Payment is charged immediately at checkout, not when the item ships.
All pre-orders will have an estimated ship date listed. Please note that this ship date is not guaranteed.
If you order a pre-order item with an in-stock item, both items will ship together when the pre-order item becomes available. If you would like your items to ship separately, please email haikulane@gmail.com for further information or please place two separate orders.
RETURNS
Please note that all custom pieces, sale items and earrings are FINAL SALE.
If you wish to make a return you will receive store credit.
Please contact haikulane@gmail.com to request a return. Haiku Lane must receive the return back within 14 days in brand new condition meaning it has not been worn and is undamaged.
Please contact us if you have received the wrong item or if there is damage to your piece.
You will be responsible to any costs to send via post.
